Add-on: direct bank connection (PSD2 / Open Banking)

+500 NOK/month — no VAT on top — connect your bank directly to Macct and have transactions fetched automatically and continuously, with no files to download.

We would love to have everything in one price. But the PSD2 providers that make direct bank connections possible charge high fixed costs, and we think it is more honest to price the service separately — so customers who don't need it don't pay for it.

Most businesses get far with regular bank import, which is included in the base price — especially when starting out.

The add-on is not open for ordering yet — we will say so on this page when it is.

Accounting firms

Firms use Macct with a dedicated client dashboard, employee roles and one-click switching between clients. Each client company has its own subscription at 250 kr/mo — the same flat price as everyone else. There is currently no separate firm pricing or consolidated invoicing.

How it works

1. Create an account — free, no credit card.
2. 30-day free trial — full access from day 1.
3. Pay by card or Klarna, Vipps or invoice — with card or Klarna the subscription renews automatically every month until you cancel (how card payment works). With Vipps or invoice you choose 1–12 months in the app and extend it yourself.
4. Email confirmation — the subscription is extended by the months you chose, counted from the date it would otherwise have expired. If it has already expired, they count from today — you never pay for the time it was closed.
5. Do not need Macct for a month? With Vipps or invoice, simply do not extend. With card or Klarna, cancel under Subscription, and access lasts until the end of the period you have paid for. If the subscription lapses, your accounts stay put: you can log in and export as before, and filing to Altinn reopens when you extend.
