How the trial works

  • You get an email 7 days and 1 day before the trial ends.
  • Payment only starts if you choose it yourself, under Subscription. If you pay before the trial is over, the paid time counts from the end of the trial — you lose no free days.
  • If you do nothing, you can still log in and export everything you have entered. Filing to Altinn and the Tax Administration is closed until you pay, and accounting data is not deleted automatically.
  • We only ask for the organisation number, your name, email and a password — no payment card or phone number.

Want to see Macct first? Open the demo company — filled in and no sign-up. It is shared with other visitors and reset every night, so do not enter real data there.

Company information

«Look up» becomes available when you have entered 9 digits. Enter the org. number and click "Look up" to auto-fill from the Norwegian Business Register. Why we ask: the name and company type are fetched from the Brønnøysund Register Centre, and the company type decides what Macct files to Altinn for you. Could not reach the Brønnøysund Register Centre right now. You can enter the company name yourself and continue.
The name is taken from the Brønnøysund Register Centre and cannot be changed here. If it is wrong, the register itself must be updated.

You get a confirmation link here. Your email is your username, and notifications come here — including before the trial ends.

Macct is for small limited companies (AS) and sole proprietorships (ENK). For an AS, the tax return, annual accounts and shareholder register statement are sent from Macct; for an ENK the tax return is prepared and you file it yourself in Altinn. Not built for groups, advanced inventory or project accounting, or other company types - see who Macct is not for.
